Tony’s practice is focused on complex litigation, government investigations and regulatory matters.  He represents both private and publicly held companies, municipalities and non-profits in litigation involving intellectual property claims, securities and shareholder disputes, white collar criminal defense, unfair competition, class and collective actions, employment and non-compete disputes, and breach of contract claims. 

Tara Swafford

Partner

Tara has been a litigator for 25 years in Tennessee and is experienced in bench and jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations. She has represented some of the biggest companies in the state including HCA Inc., Nissan of North America, Dollar General and Corrections Corporation of America. She practiced nearly 10 years with Bass, Berry and Sims, PLC, in Nashville, Tennessee where she was a partner in the litigation department and a practice leader for the Firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Group.

Lee brings over 40 years of experience to the team at Swafford Law.  His experience includes vehicle liability defense in the motor carrier industry, a nationally recognized practice in defense of juvenile products, and state-wide practices in Tennessee and Kentucky in long-term care cases.  He served as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Chattanooga for 14 years.  He has argued multiple cases in the Tennessee Courts of Appeals and the Tennessee Supreme Court.

Elizabeth hart

Elizabeth is an established attorney with the Swafford Law Firm and handles all types of litigation matters. She earned her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Kentucky and was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 2011.

Dylan harper

associate

Dylan Harper primarily handles business litigation but also represents clients in the firm’s education and employment practices. In addition, Dylan works closely with our private clients, assisting in matters of family law, business, and estate planning. He prides himself on being able to connect with people on a personal level and understand the real issues driving their case. Dylan is a Rule 31 Listed Family Mediator with the additional certification of Special Training in Domestic Violence.

Andrew Bull

A Nashville native, Andrew is proud to represent those in the community in which he has such close ties.  In undergrad, Andrew attended the University of Alabama where he pursued a degree in accounting while competing on the track and cross-country team before acquiring his JD at the University of Memphis in 2022.  When not in the office, Andrew enjoys searching Middle Tennessee for new places to fly fish and pursue other outdoor activities.
